Tutor Policy

Overview

This Tutor Policy governs all tutors registered, approved, or associated with Unique Home Tutors for Home Tuition, Classroom Programs, and Live Online Classes.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, applying, accepting demo classes, accepting student assignments, conducting classes, or receiving any benefit through Unique Home Tutors, the tutor agrees to comply with this Tutor Policy and all future updates published by Unique Home Tutors.

2. Tutor Verification Requirements

All tutors must provide:

  • Government-issued ID Proof
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Educational Qualification Documents
  • Contact Information
  • Address Details
  • Profile Information
  • Subject Expertise Details

    • Providing false information may result in immediate rejection, suspension, or permanent removal.

    3. Professional Conduct

    Tutors must:

  • Be punctual and professional.
  • Maintain respectful communication.
  • Dress appropriately during home visits and online classes.
  • Follow ethical teaching practices.
  • Create a positive learning environment.

    • Tutors must not:

  • Use abusive language.
  • Harass students or parents.
  • Discriminate based on religion, caste, gender, race, language, or background.
  • Share inappropriate content.
  • Attend classes under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • Violation may result in immediate termination.

    4. No Direct Payment Policy

    Tutors are strictly prohibited from:

  • Collecting cash directly from parents.
  • Accepting UPI payments directly from parents.
  • Accepting bank transfers from parents.
  • Receiving gifts, vouchers, or financial consideration without company approval.

    • All payments must be processed through Unique Home Tutors. Any violation may result in:

  • Immediate suspension
  • Withholding of pending payouts
  • Permanent removal from the platform

    • 5. No Bypass Policy

    Tutors must not:

  • Privately engage students introduced by Unique Home Tutors.
  • Continue classes independently after assignment termination.
  • Encourage parents to leave the platform.
  • Share personal payment methods with parents.
  • Conduct tuition arrangements outside the platform.

    • This policy remains applicable during active assignments and for 24 months after assignment completion.

    6. Tutor Assignment Responsibilities

    After accepting an assignment, tutors must:

  • Contact the parent promptly.
  • Confirm class schedules.
  • Conduct classes as agreed.
  • Follow the approved class plan.
  • Inform Unique Home Tutors of any issues.

    • Accepted assignments should not be abandoned without valid reasons.

    7. Demo Class Policy

    Tutors must:

  • Attend demos on time.
  • Prepare adequately.
  • Demonstrate teaching methodology.
  • Submit demo feedback within 24 hours.

    • Demo feedback must include:

  • Demo status
  • Parent response
  • Student learning level
  • Continuation possibility
  • Any concerns

    • Repeated failure to submit demo reports may affect future lead allocation.

    8. Attendance & Punctuality

    Tutors must:

  • Join online classes on time.
  • Reach home tuition locations punctually.
  • Inform parents and Unique Home Tutors in advance regarding unavoidable delays.

    • Repeated delays or absences may result in disciplinary action.

    9. Tutor Gap & Leave Policy

    If classes are missed due to tutor-related reasons:

  • Tutors must compensate pending classes.
  • Make-up classes should preferably be completed within the same week.
  • All gaps must be reported to Unique Home Tutors.

    • Failure to compensate classes may affect tutor payouts.

    10. Parent Holiday Policy

    When parents or students take approved holidays:

    Summer Vacation (May–June) — Reasonable schedule adjustments may be accommodated.

    Academic Session (July Onwards) — Compensation will be governed by the Gap & Compensation Policy published by Unique Home Tutors.

    11. Tutor Replacement Policy

    If a tutor wishes to discontinue an assignment:

  • Minimum 30 days advance notice is preferred.
  • Current monthly cycle should be completed whenever possible.
  • Proper handover should be provided.

    • Unique Home Tutors reserves the right to reassign students.

    12. Student Information Confidentiality

    Tutors must keep confidential:

  • Student information
  • Parent contact details
  • Academic records
  • Internal communications
  • Pricing details

    • Confidential information may not be shared with third parties.

    13. Class Recordings & Educational Materials

    Tutors shall not:

  • Distribute student recordings.
  • Upload class screenshots publicly.
  • Share student information online.

    • Educational materials developed during assignments may be used only for academic purposes.

  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent removal

    • 16. Assignment Continuity

    Once an assignment is accepted:

  • Tutors should demonstrate commitment.
  • Frequent discontinuation should be avoided.
  • Students should not be left without notice.

    • Academic continuity is critical for student success.

    17. Unauthorized Substitution Prohibited

    Tutors may not:

  • Send another tutor in their place.
  • Outsource classes.
  • Refer assigned students to third parties.
  • Share assignments without approval.

    • Only verified tutors approved by Unique Home Tutors may teach assigned students.

    18. Session Structure Compliance

    Tutors must follow assigned schedules.

    5 Days Per Week Plan — Approximately 20–22 sessions per month.

    Alternate Day Plan — Approximately 12–13 sessions per month.

    Session-Based Plans — Exact assigned sessions must be completed.

    Additional or fewer classes require approval.

    19. Payment & Salary Process

    Tutor payouts are processed only after:

  • Completion of assigned classes.
  • Verification of attendance.
  • Confirmation of payment status.

    • Payout timelines may vary according to company policies and operational processes.

    20. Social Media & Reputation

    Tutors shall not:

  • Publish negative content regarding students.
  • Publish confidential information.
  • Misrepresent their relationship with Unique Home Tutors.

    • Professional conduct must be maintained online and offline.

    21. Grounds for Suspension or Removal

    Unique Home Tutors may suspend or permanently remove tutors for:

  • Fraudulent information
  • Direct payment collection
  • Bypass attempts
  • Poor conduct
  • Repeated complaints
  • Harassment
  • Academic negligence
  • Policy violations

    • 22. Limitation of Engagement

    Tutor registration does not guarantee:

  • Student allocation
  • Demo allocation
  • Minimum earnings
  • Continuous assignments

    • Assignments depend upon:

  • Tutor profile quality
  • Student requirements
  • Subject demand
  • Availability
  • Performance

    • 23. Governing Law

    This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India.

    24. Policy Updates

    Unique Home Tutors reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The latest version published on the website shall be considered the governing version.

    25. Tutor Declaration

    By registering with Unique Home Tutors, the tutor confirms that:
